The Clients are always the top priority for designers working in a store. They strive to provide prompt and courteous service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Interior Design Consultant discuss with customers their potential kitchen and/or bathroom renovations, give a tour of the store and recommend what they should purchase. They also ensure that sample stock and brochures are kept up-to-date, and special displays are appealing and safe.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Offer expedited and amiable support.
  • Approach customers in the aisles to show them products.
  • Provide a friendly greeting to customers by smiling and making eye contact with them as they enter the store, and offer assistance if needed.

  • Display high levels of eagerness when dealing with customers and adeptly manage multiple clients when the situation demands it.
  • Show appreciation to customers for their recent purchase and thank them for their business.

  • Understanding a customers level of expertise is crucial when explaining merchandise to them. Depending on the customer's knowledge and familiarity with the product, the way in which you describe it will vary.
  • The benefits of merchandise, on the other hand, refer to the advantages that customers receive from using the product. For example, if a product is portable and easy to carry, the benefit for customers is the convenience and ease of use whether they are on-the-go or traveling.
  • Next, create a project plan outlining the steps necessary to reach the project objectives. The plan should include detailed tasks, timelines, and assigned responsibilities.
  • Help patrons with personalized orders and professional installations.
  • Take measurements of kitchens and/or bathrooms and meet with customers to examine room plans and provide advice on product purchases.
  • It is vital to maintain a pleasing and safe shopping environment in the special order displays and showrooms.
  • Keep an eye on the stock levels of samples and brochures and replenish them as necessary.

  • Forklift and other weighty machinery operations can cause temporary cracks on the floor surface.
  • Due to doors being frequently left open, there are fluctuations in interior temperature caused by airflow.

  • Gas fumes are released by passing forklifts.
  • There's a possibility that hazardous substances may be included in the tools, supplies, and allied products.

Environmental Job Requirements:
