Principal Solutions Architect, Cyber Security

Job Summary

This position is responsible for designing and implementing IT security best practices in an enterprise environment. The role involves defining technical security requirements, monitoring existing security controls, and raising security awareness across global teams. The individual will lead and support secure architecture initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to a culture of security across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security best practices across Azure Cloud, GCP, Identity Systems, End Points, and Enterprise Networks
• Provide guidance on website security and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
• Integrate security into Agile product development processes
• Lead security-related projects and conduct architecture reviews
• Support governance, compliance, and monitoring efforts using SIEM, firewalls, DLP, and other tools
• Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and metrics
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and ensure timely remediation of findings
• Collaborate with technical leads and engineers to align remediation with best practices
• Participate in compliance reviews and incident investigations
• Ensure adherence to all corporate security standards and protocols

Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably within enterprise environments
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong project management, research, and multitasking capabilities
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Security, server/client security, and network communications
• Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks such as C#, Python, Java, NodeJS, SQL, or .Net
• Familiarity with database security, vulnerability scanning, and anti-malware tools
• Understanding of application security threats and mitigations (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Preferred certifications: AZ-500, SC-500, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+

Salary

$148,000 – $190,000 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and market alignment. Eligible for performance-based short-term incentives.
