Controls Technician

Job Summary

As a Controls Technician at General Mills, you will play a crucial role in supporting, creating, integrating, troubleshooting, and improving a variety of processing and packaging control systems. You will be responsible for reading and updating electrical and control schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and providing technical support for equipment troubleshooting and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain processing and packaging control systems
• Read, update, and create electrical and control schematics, as well as piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting and system modifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance
• Assist in the development and improvement of control systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with control systems in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical and control schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Experience troubleshooting and modifying equipment and systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and technical skills
